There is still time for alumni to 'Rise Up and Serve'

Many service opportunities remain in April (and May) as part of Elon’s Nationwide Month of Service.

More than one hundred alumni have already answered the call to "Rise Up and Serve" this month as part of Elon's Nationwide Month of Service - from volunteering with an animal rescue organization in Washington, D.C., to walking to defeat MLS in the North Carolina Triangle.

Many more opportunities still remain, including:

·  Charlotte Chapter - Classroom Central, April 25

·  Kentucky Club - Food Bank, April 27

·  NYC Chapter - United Way of Hudson County Spring Fair & Tent Sale, April 27

·  Triad Chapter - Greensboro Habitat for Humanity, May 4

·  Washington, D.C. Chapter - Miriam's Kitchen, April 29

In all, 14 alumni chapters and clubs are participating in this year's month of service. In addition, several alumni registered their own service work with the Alumni Association. For more information or to let us know about your service project, visit www.elon.edu/riseupandserve.
