Economics professors' research highlighted in BizEd
The research findings of Mark Kurt, assistant professor of economics, and Steve DeLoach, professor of economics, on the discouraged worker effect appear in the March/April 2014 issue of BizEd magazine.
The article discusses the professors’ paper, “Discouraging Workers: Estimating the Impacts of Macroeconomic Shocks on the Search Intensity of the Unemployed,” which appeared in the December 2013 Journal of Labor Research.
