Student volunteers needed to help with afterschool homework.
Burlington Recreation & Parks afterschool program is seeking student volunteer homework helpers from September 18, 2018 through May 31, 2019. One to two volunteers are needed for each site. Volunteers can help from 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m., on weekdays only. The two sites partnered with Elon University are Grove Park Elementary and Newlin Elementary. Volunteers are required to watch a 2.5-hour-long BRPD Youth Program Training Video prior to helping.
