The Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship focuses on experiential education that encourages creative and design thinking, opportunity recognition, and plan formulation and implementation. Throughout the year, we sponsor entrepreneurship-themed co-curricular activities open to all majors. The programming provides opportunities for students to further develop their entrepreneurial mindset and skillset.
The Doherty Center is housed on the first floor of Richard W. Sankey Hall. For more information, contact us at 336.278.5992 or innovation@elon.edu.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship seeks to be a model of inclusion on Elon University’s campus and in the broader community. We believe that a genuine appreciation of diversity and an intentional desire for inclusion and equity lead to stronger innovation and entrepreneurial practices and are essential to the fulfillment of our Center’s mission.
We are deeply committed to advancing a community of engagement and practice where students, faculty, staff, community members, alumni and other stakeholders can interact with each other across differences in socioeconomic status, race, religious backgrounds, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability level, ethnicity, or nationality. We will create a safe space for all members who wish to take part in an engaged and supportive community where stakeholders, creatives, innovators and entrepreneurs can interact.
