Biology Club
Elon Biology Club
Who are we? The Biology Club is a club for students dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biology. The Biology Club is open to all students with an interest in biology. You do not have to be a biology major to attend, so come and join us for biology-related activities and socializing.
Meetings
The Biology Club meets on the first and third Thursday of every month during spring and fall semesters in McMichael Science Building. There are multiple ways to receive the most current announcements regarding club speakers/events/outings 1) request to join the Moodle group by contacting one of the advisors (Dr. Jen Hamel and Dr. Eric Bauer), 2) join the Biology Club at Elon group on Facebook, 3) sign up to follow them on Twitter, 4) sign up to follow them on Instagram, or 5) scan through the postings on 2nd floor McMichael Science Building.

- Organizational fair
- Bonfire at the lodge
- Bio Jeopardy to prepare for Senior ETS exams
- McMichael Trick-or-Treat (around Halloween)
- Career panel discussions
- Celebration of Charles Darwin’s birthday (February 12)
- Plant Sale” or “Buy a Beta from Tri-Beta” (for charity)
- Field trip to the N.C. Zoo, Duke Primate Center, or elsewhere
- McMichael Cup Sports Tournament
- Senior Send-Off and Cook Out (end of Spring semester)
