Research Mentor Selection Process for Chemistry/Biochemistry:

Early in the fall semester rising sophomore and junior majors are invited to attend a meeting where faculty will present an overview of their research projects.  Students then schedule individual meetings with faculty members to discuss possible participation in selected research groups.  Subsequently, an algorithmic matching process is used to match students and mentors. All students interested in research MUST attend this meeting! Chemistry majors, College Fellows, and Honors Fellows are required to do independent research.
