The Elon English and PWR Majors prepare students for a wide variety of careers including in media, education, business, law, and in non-profits.  Many students also pursue some sort of graduate degree in English, Creative Writing, Rhetoric, or in other fields. The Student Professional Development Center (SPDC) provides guidance and support to students as they pursue successful careers and post-graduate work in English. Elon English graduates have pursued M.A.s in English, Creative Writing, Rhetoric; M. Eds., and Ph.D.’s in English, as well as graduate school in other fields such as Law and Social Work.
