Medical School

85% of students with MCAT scores >507 were accepted into at least one medical school over the past 3 years

The chart below shows the data for Elon students that matriculant to allopathic and osteopathic medical schools. But numbers are not the only measure of success. These students also had well thought-out and well crafted personal statements, had leadership positions on and off campus, had volunteered at area health facilities, had done some research, had exemplary letters of recommendation, and were well spoken and thoughtful about health care and helping others. The students also met with a pre-health advisor, used resources on campus and kept themselves informed about opportunities and attended informational meetings.

Elon prides itself on offering opportunities that will help a student in their quest to get into a health-professions program, but ultimately, it is up to the student to put in the long hours studying, volunteering, and being a leader.
