Elon Percussion & Spin Clinic
Clinic Overview
The Elon University Percussion and Spin Clinic, held on Saturday, April 27, is an event designed to advance the skills of drum line, front ensemble, and color guard members through a fun, casual, one-day experience. All students will be taught by staff of Elon University’s Fire of the Carolinas Marching Band.
The Elon University Percussion and Spin Clinic includes a full day of expert instruction, lunch, and a culminating public performance. The Spin Clinic welcomes students with at least one season of color guard experience, and it is divided into two tracks, intermediate and advanced to best serve all students. Color guard students should bring their own pole (preferably 6-foot) and flag.
The Percussion clinic will provide instruction on the following instruments snare drum, bass drum, tenor drum, mallets, keyboard, bass, and guitar. Students wishing to participate on snare drum, bass drum, tenor drums, keyboard, bass, or guitar will need to provide their instrument. Elon will furnish as many mallet instruments as possible.
Register no later than April 22!
