About seventy percent of students study abroad during their time at Elon. Some current faculty members from Elon’s Department of Political Science and Public Administration have taught study abroad/study USA courses:

  • Susie Camilleri and Joel Shelton have taught the Winter Term Washington DC Experience course.
  •  Laura Roselle has directed the London semester program.

Recently, two departmental students spent a semester in Ghana, taking courses at the University of Ghana and interning at the Center for Democracy and Development, a prestigious advocacy and think tank that promotes democratic practices in Africa.

Majors have also had semester study abroad experiences in London, Dublin, Australia, Ecuador, Spain and France.
