Economics Peer Mentorship Program

Working through an Economics major is both exciting and challenging. It can be
hard to know what opportunities are available or how to choose classes that fit your
interests. Having a mentor who has been through the same process can help you find your way.

The Elon Economics Peer Mentorship Program (EPMP) is designed to help students in the
major find opportunities in the department and in the industry by matching to peer
mentors. With social and academic opportunities EPMP is here opportunities to help
integrate students into their future.

Cole Fauerbach ‘25

Students at best business schoolCole Fauerbach is a finance and economics major and part of the Class of 2025. On campus, he serves as the president of the Economics Club and Omicron Delta Epsilon, the vice president of the Investment Banking Club, and a member of the Club Baseball team. He is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Phi Eta Sigma. Cole’s primary interest in economics is macroeconomics and its relationship to the financial markets. He wanted to become a mentor to provide students with additional tools and advice beyond what they receive in the classroom.

Reagan Kadlic '25

Students at best business schoolRegan Kadlic is a senior with a double major in Economics and Psychology and a minor in Statistics. On campus, she serves as the Vice President of Finance for Sigma Kappa and is an active member of the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi. Additionally, Regan works as a calculus tutor. She enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
In the field of economics, Regan is particularly interested in health and behavioral economics. She is eager to become a mentor because she believes that there are numerous opportunities and resources within the economics department that many students might not be aware of. Regan’s own discovery of these resources greatly enriched her college experience, and she hopes to help others have a similarly fulfilling journey.

Emma Leonard '25

Students at best business schoolEmma Leonard is a senior, majoring in Economics and Psychology and minoring in Math and
Art. On campus, she is actively involved in the AKPsi professional business fraternity, the Issues in Political Economy Undergraduate Research Journal, and participates in the College Fed Challenge. Outside of campus, Emma serves as a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Balancing her academic work, she enjoys sailing, spending time with her cats, and is a certified yoga teacher.
Emma’s interest in economics lies in macroeconomics, with a focus on applying behavioral
insights to public policy. Having experienced the benefits of peer mentorship during her first year in the College Fed Challenge with older peers, Emma understands its value. She has a strong
passion for economics and is eager to share this with others while helping her peers navigate
the numerous opportunities available in the field.

Cole Meixsell ‘25

Students at best business schoolCole Meixsell is a senior with a double major in Economics and Political Science, along with double minors in German Studies and History. On campus, Cole is actively involved in IPE, PSLAC, the Elon Honor Board, and the Federal Reserve Challenge. He also works as a PAL in the Elon Admissions Office. In his free time, Cole enjoys running and reading.
Cole’s interests in economics span several areas, including Macroeconomics, Housing, Consumer Finance, Developmental Economics, and International Economics. As a
first-generation student, Cole understands the challenges of navigating college life and wishes there had been a program like this mentorship when he was a first-year student. He wants to be a mentor to provide support and guidance to others, helping them make the most of their college experience.
