Enhance Your Leadership Competencies

Leadership is woven throughout the Elon MBA curriculum. From assessing one’s leadership and communication style to working in teams on projects to discussing the decision-making process with industry leaders, students prepare to be the responsible, ethical leaders the world needs.

Lessons From Leaders

Elon MBA students connect with and learn from business leaders and alumni through networking events, guest lectures, panel discussions, and Lessons from Leaders, a series featuring senior executives who discuss their leadership and strategic management experiences, and share career insights and advice. Students are encouraged to participate in these discussion-based events.

Exploring Strengths

Elon MBA students begin the program measuring their top talents by completing the CliftonStrengths web-based assessment. This assessment helps students uncover their natural talents, learn how to develop these talents into strengths, and make meaning of their strengths in the workplace. Through individualized reflection, guided activities and group discussion, students will have a robust foundation of knowledge to begin immediately applying to their daily lives. During MBA Orientation, students will complete the assessment and participate in a workshop facilitated by a career advisor from Elon’s Student Professional Development Center.
