Elon MBA Study Abroad
Elon is one of the MBA programs with study abroad options. Elon MBA students have the opportunity to deepen their global business knowledge by participating in an MBA study abroad experience. Travel to Asia or Europe complements the program’s international business course and typically takes place during the winter semester. The program subsidizes a substantial portion of the cost to ensure the travel is affordable.
If students are not able to participate in one of the MBA programs with study abroad, students are encourages to gain global perspectives by taking some of the Elon MBA course with an international component:
MBA 6410: Global Supply Chain Management (1.5 credits)
MBA 7130: International Business- Study Abroad (1.5 credits)
When you immerse yourself in a new environment, you gain an invaluable understanding of the local culture and customs.
Time spent traveling together provides excellent networking opportunities and helps develop relationships with peers from around the world.
Over the course of 10 days, Elon MBA students visit a variety of organizations and cultural sites, meet with international business managers, and attend workshops. In recent years, students have traveled to Italy, Singapore and Vietnam.
