Policies

The university’s bylaws and policies are spelled out in the Faculty Handbook. In the handbook, you will find Elon’s statements on academic freedom and professional standards, the responsibilities expected in various academic ranks, and the faculty evaluation system.

The faculty handbook also describes policies and procedures related to the Honor Code, grades and grade appeals, office hours, final exams, attendance, religious holidays, bias and discrimination, and what to do in inclement weather.
