Grants

Overview of CATL grants

CATL has revised its internal grant funding programs to provide more clarity, to streamline our processes, and to better share the outcomes of these grant-awarded projects with the Elon teaching and learning community.

Please note the following changes:

  • While many of our grants have historically been reviewed on a rolling basis, we are shifting our processes going forward. Mini-grants and grants supporting travel to conferences and other professional development now be reviewed once per semester.
  • We have extended the scope of the Diversity and Inclusivity Grants to incorporate high-impact and evidence-based practices in addition to inclusive pedagogies. These groups are now renamed “Collaborative Grants” to emphasize the cross-disciplinary and team-based nature of this funding.
  • To provide more options for folks engaging in scholarly teaching and the scholarship of teaching and learning, we are now offering a collection of grants titled “CATL SoTL and Scholarly Teaching Grants” which include the SoTL Project Grants, Scholarly Teaching and SoTL Professional Development Grants, and SoTL Dissemination Grants.

Click each title for additional information and for application forms.
