Caps & Gowns

Grad Fair at Elon was Monday-Tuesday, April 8-9, 2024. If you were unable to visit the bookstore either day and still need to pick up a Commencement gown, please go to the bookstore during business hours.

Visit the second floor textbook counter to request you robe. Please have your Phoenix card for fastest service.

Candidates who are currently not living at Elon (e.g., fall/winter grads, study abroad, remote internship, etc.), or for other reasons may not be on main campus during the spring semester should plan to have their robe with them on May 24. Please complete the shipping form if you would like it mailed. Otherwise, stop at the bookstore when you return in May for remaining sizes. Fall/winter graduates will need to bring caps, gowns and tassels with them when they return for their ceremony but do not need to bring their diplomas.

Please note there is no charge for the cap, gown and tassel unless a replacement is needed due to loss or damage on the part of the candidate. If loss or damage occurs, return to the university bookstore to handle replacement.

The bookstore website is a good source for commemorative merchandise for sale. Graduation announcements and class rings can be ordered directly from Jostens.
