Begin to implement suggestions from the following task forces:
Task Force on the Promotion and Tenure Process
Task Force on Reassigned Time
Task Force on the Role of the Department Chair.
Support GST revision as needed.
Continue to evaluate the current task force, standing and appointed committee structure, charge and membership, including taking action on the recommendation of the reports from standing committees.
Complete the process for integrating the School of Health Sciences into the shared governance structure.
Collaborate with Academic Affairs Council to implement the approved evaluation of teaching proposals and to explore alternative methods to evaluate teaching.
Address the concerns raised at the May faculty meeting about how service is valued at the institution; determine the next steps for the service proposals.
Support the President’s Diversity Council.
Continue to develop the process for submitting issues/concerns to Council and for presenting proposals at AC and faculty meetings.
Monitor the progress of faculty/staff salary initiative.
