NSR 4300
Students will research the healthcare outcomes in the US vs Cuba related to various healthcare topics using a variety of sources. Students will assess for bias through data looking for factors that impact equitable healthcare. Students will access and collect data on their assigned topic and analyze the data related to culture and the environment providing a summary of the data, including identified data gaps. Students will take the data they gathered and analyzed during their prep seminar and time in Cuba and will interview practitioners during this study abroad course for additional data gathering. Students will be responsible for communicating the information they learn during their daily debriefings.
