STS 3250
Students in this course carry out a semester long project involving completing a proposal for an experiment, refining their protocol, collecting data from the experiment, and analyzing the data to draw conclusions. Through this project, students are able to implement basic principles of statistical design: randomization, replication, and blocking. Students produce a formal written paper and a recorded presentation, a podcast, a newspaper article, a series of Tik Tok videos, or some other creative form of summarizing their work.
