The Elon MHEÂ prepares visionary professionals ready to advance student learning and improve institutions of higher education. Our program offers a student-centered environment rooted in hands-on, experiential learning with global perspectives, a guaranteed, paid apprenticeship (matched in the admissions process), with fully-funded professional development and study away experiences. Graduates of Elon’s MHE leave the program prepared for leadership roles in colleges and universities and create meaningful change.

Find out more about the application process. Each applicant is considered holistically. After the application, a comittee will review all applicants and send select invitations to attend the MHE Preview in February before final decisions are made. All admitted students will be invited to admitted student days in March.

Start your application today. The Elon MHE program enrolls in August every year. The application priority deadline is January 10 and we encourage applicants to apply as early as possible. Applications completed after the deadline will be considered based on space availability.

MHE Preview is a virtual visit and apprenticeship interview that provides applicants an opportunity to learn a little more about Elon and for Elon to learn more about you. Preview is a series of panels, conversations and interviews across a series of days.
