Health Service Fee: $215

Reasonable cost and strong financial resources are two major benefits of the Master of Arts in Higher Education program. The Elon Master of Arts in Higher Education’s tuition cost for 2023-2024 is $17, 842, with an added health service fee of $215. Tuition will not increase for the student’s second year. Additionally, all full-time students are required to maintain adequate medical insurance during their enrollment at Elon University. There are no student fees for student activities, parking, technology, recreational facility, and cultural/athletic events, etc. There is a significant amount of funding for scholarships awarded to qualified applicants.

The Elon MHE program provides funding for:

students’ study away experiences (MHE students are responsible for purchasing personal items such as necessary travel documents, required immunizations, luggage fees, gifts, etc.)
a regional or national professional conference, or other aspects of the student’s professional development plan in the student’s second year.
a membership in a professional association and travel grants to attend state or regional conferences in their first year.

Billing and Payment Process

For the 2024-2025 academic year, students will receive a bill from the Bursar’s Office for fall and winter terms in early July that will be due at the beginning of August.
