Housing at Elon
Elon offers a wide range of on-campus housing ranging from hall-style to apartment-style living. There are several on-campus residential areas. Housing is assigned based on preference and availability.

Exchange Students
Exchange students will apply for housing during a time specified by the residence life office. Exchange students from most of Elon’s partner universities will be required to pay for their own housing. The opportunity to request specific housing is available in the housing application, but specific placements depend on available spaces. Housing will be paid by Elon for students from Kansai Gaidai University.
Dining at Elon
Elon offers a variety of locations to eat on campus ranging from all-you-can-eat dining halls to quick take-away meals. Dining halls such as Clohan Hall tend to offer buffet-style meals. Retail locations such as the Acorn Coffee Shop feature made-to-order meals for dine-in or take out.

Exchange Students
Exchange students from most of Elon’s partner universities will be required to pay for their own meal plans. Students will typically start out with the All Access Basic plan. Adjustments may be made until the second Friday of the school year. Students whose meal plans are covered by their institution’s exchange agreement with Elon (University of Ghana, Kansai Gaidai University) will receive the All Access Basic plan. The student is responsible for the cost difference if a different plan is selected.
