Staff Advisory Council Global Engagement Program (GEP)

Elon offers staff the ability to expand their global perspectives while assisting faculty and students during winter term global engagement experiences. All full-time staff members with three (3) years of service are eligible to apply. Successful participants collaborate with instructors and provide support on one of the GEC’s 30+ study abroad or Study USA three-week programs. London Staff Program

Elon has expanded global learning to faculty and staff through initiatives like the London Staff Program. The one-week program is offered to Elon employees for a nominal fee, including passport fees, airfare, lodging, certain ground transportation, admission to various places and excursions, a theater production, and occasional joint meals. Selection preference is based on those who have never traveled outside the continental U.S., the nature of the applicant’s work with students, years of service, and type of employment. An announcement, with an application, is sent to staff in early summer.
