Cultivating a globally aware community is integral to our approach to learning, and we work hard to ensure that our global experiences are accessible to all students. We know you have different interests, needs, and challenges when considering global study, so we provide diverse program options, resources, and support to meet you where you are and carry you forward on your journey of exploration.

You can study stateside or halfway around the world, for a week to a year, at any point in your Elon journey. And our global experiences don’t stop at studies – with support from the GEC, our students find meaningful ways to learn beyond the classroom, immersing themselves in culture, internships, research, and community connections in more than 30 countries. This ultimately prepares them for careers and life in a larger world.

Short-Term Abroad

Take courses developed and led by Elon faculty and staff that typically focus on a specific subject area, available for both Study Abroad and Study USA programs. Program leaders travel with Elon students to learn and explore together. By design, short-term programs integrate many group activities into their curriculum and provide a structured experience.
