Shefali Christopher, faculty leader

Shefali Christopher, originally from Mumbai, India, is our faculty leader. Although she played a variety of sports growing up, she did not run for exercise. After swimming in college, she competed in triathlons and was forced to run to finish the race. In 2010 she completed Ironman Louisville where she ran her only marathon (after 2.4 miles of swimming and 112 miles of biking). Once she had children she started running for exercise, and now is one of the fearless leaders of the club. Shefali is a founding member of ElonRUNS and is passionate about helping increase movement in the community. She still dislikes running but enjoys chatting with other runners or listening to the dance radio station to help it go by faster.
