Dr. Paula DiBiasio has developed and implemented a successful global education program for Doctor of Physical Therapy students at Elon University in the Department of Physical Therapy Education (DPTE).  Paula works to establish high-quality intercultural learning experiences within reciprocating community partnerships. She is the principal investigator of an international multi-site study examining the intercultural competencies of physical therapy students & alumni and has presented internationally on the topic. Dr. DiBiasio is dedicated to positively impacting healthcare disparities by promoting students’ development of skills related to engaging with difference sensitively and equitably.
