About our Program

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is offered in two formats. The first is a traditional, four-year undergraduate program for high school graduates. The four-year BSN program will satisfy all Elon University core requirements and is built to allow pursuit of a biology minor in addition to all nursing pre-requisites, the 65-credit hour nursing curriculum, and 540 clinical hours. The second is an accelerated BSN program for those who have already earned a bachelor’s degree in another field of study. The accelerated BSN (ABSN) program is an intensive, 16-month program that includes 65 credit hours and 540 clinical hours. Both programs include opportunities for experiential and global learning and will prepare students to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to become a licensed, registered nurse.
