Graduate Student Support
Learning & Writing Graduate Liaisons provide one-to-one or small group peer-to-peer support to students in any Elon graduate program. Graduate Liaisons support graduate students by facilitating:
- Co-Work and Coffee Sessions which are informal sessions that offer an opportunity to gather with other graduate students, work independently or in teams, and socialize at a local coffee shop.
- Individual Consultations which can be scheduled by directly reaching out via email.
Learning & Writing Graduate Liaisons are current graduate students that are trained and supported by Learning Assistance and The Writing Center within the Center for Writing Excellence. Graduate students can also utilize The Writing Center by making an appointment with a trained undergraduate student or submitting a draft for feedback; more info here.
For additional questions, you can contact or schedule a consultation with a Learning Assistance staff member.

Hannah Wright, SPT (she/her)
Hi! My name is Hannah, and I’m a second-year student in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. I’m excited to be in this role as a Graduate Liaison because as a first-generation graduate student, I recognize the significance of support. I have previously worked in a writing center at my undergrad, and this gave me insight on the benefit of peer relationships centered around collaboration. In this position, I look forward to hearing the needs of my peers, forging relationships, and, most importantly, encouraging and offering support!
Emma Calhoun (she/her)
Hi everyone! My name is Emma, and I’m a second-year Master’s student in Higher Education. I’m thrilled to join as your Graduate Liaison and can’t wait to get to know all of you better, hopefully serving as a friend! From my advocacy role in the Higher Education Student Association (HESA) to my everyday interactions with Odyssey students, I am passionate about building community and hope to bring that passion to everything I do in this role. I know the graduate community can feel both small and vast at the same time, so as you navigate this space, just know you have me in your corner!
