Making “The Danieley Difference”

Danieley Neighborhood’s mission is to meaningfully integrate living and learning at Elon in order to bridge the academic and residential experiences for students. We pride ourselves on our living and learning road map, and we brand our unique plan as “The Danieley Difference.”

Our theme encourages residents not only to grow in their understanding of self and others in regards to difference and identity while here, but also to be inspired to use what they learn to make The Danieley Difference. With a primarily sophomore neighborhood, we focus on sophomore community development through four main areas: acting with purpose, relationship building, community responsibility, and wellness. These areas inform the ways that we engage with residents as they enter a formative period of life.
