Global Neighborhood Layout & Buildings

Within the Global Neighborhood, there are 6 main buildings:

GBL A, GBL B (Gill), GBL C (Jackson), GBL D (Perkins), GBL E, Global Commons

The five residential buildings offer a total of 595 spaces (70% doubles, 30% singles).

67% First-Year Students, 27% Sophomore Students, 4% Junior Students, 2% Senior Students

Visiting Scholar Apartment

Global Neighborhood is occasionally home to a visiting scholar whose stay at Elon is hosted by an academic department. This apartment is located in Global C, on the first floor. Visiting scholars are individuals who are experts in their field and will share their interests with residents, faculty, and staff in a variety of ways. Global Room Styles/Layouts

In the Global Neighborhood, there are 4 types of rooms: Traditional Double Suites, Stand-Alone Doubles, Stand-Alone Singles, and Pod-Style Singles. Most first-year students will live in Traditional Double Suites.
