Fifty-five Elon University students were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and often considered the nation’s most prestigious honor society, during an April 4 dinner and ceremony where Marta Tienda, Professor of Demographic Studies and Professor of Sociology and Public Affairs Emerita at Princeton University, served as the keynote speaker and President Connie Book offered congratulatory remarks.
