Research/Creative Interests

The Center for Design Thinking engages in mixed-method research designed to study how various processes support collaborative efforts to address wicked problems (design thinking, deliberative dialogue, community-based participatory research, etc.). I also conduct scholarship on feminist pragmatist philosophies (Grace Lee Boggs and Jane Addams).

Research/Creative Needs

Qualtrics, survey design and assessment, interviewing, data analysis, mixed methods studies, conference presentations, manuscript writing, editing, APA citation, data visualization, and more!

Mentoring Style

  • Typically one-on-one
  • One-on-one or in small groups, depending on the project
  • I typically collaborate with faculty from other institutions or other experts in the field to mentor students
