Research/Creative Interests
I’m interested in anything and everything to do with writing, including how students write, how they use writing in their work and lives, how they learn to write, and how writing can empower and inspire. I research touches on all of these areas. A secondary interest is leadership and mentoring in student organizations.
What types of “data” do you commonly use?
Typically, I collect survey or interview data or student writing as a form or data. Analysis is often mixed methods or qualitative.
What types of collaborations are you open to?
Open to all collaborations.
Student Qualifications
- I’m open to all students, including students who have no prior experience in the writing field or who have had no prior research experience.
