Research/Creative Interests
My primary focus of research is conducting impact assessments of a popular financial inclusion program aimed at improving lives and livelihoods of refugees living in Northern Uganda. This includes assessing the efficacy of ancillary programs such as agricultural and business training.
What types of “data” do you commonly use?
I use administrative data (secondary data) collected by the NGO that operates the programs. However, I am actively engaged with them in helping them create survey instruments.
What types of collaborations are you open to?
I am interested in any collaboration, especially with faculty with general area (Uganda) expertise or expertise in refugee policy.
