Research/Creative Interests

As a modern China historian, I am interested in student activism, social movement, and higher education. I am also interested in creating Chinese-history based role-playing games for teaching.

What types of “data” do you commonly use?

For historians, archives are our data, for which we use to analyze and make arguments and narratives.

What types of collaborations are you open to?

I’m happy to work with students, staff, and faculty for any Asia related projects.

What agencies, organizations, or foundations do you have experience with to apply for grants?
