Connecting the Dots: Brainstorming Your Research Story
July 1; Belk Library 113; 4-5pm
Since you’ve arrived at Elon, you’ve participated in many different experiences and opportunities, such as classes that have challenged your thinking, study abroad or away experiences that have sparked your curiosity, and research or internship opportunities that have exposed you to new ways of thinking and working. But how do you make sense of all these experiences and, even more so, write about them in a coherent story about who you are, where you’re come from, and where you’re going? In this workshop, we’ll use the FIRE Toolkit questions to complete a series of writing prompts to help you write about yourself, the skills you’ve developed, and the experiences that have shaped you.
