One of the major focal areas of our Writing Excellence Initiative is Writing in a Discipline/Profession. The CWE encourages faculty to contact Dr. Paula Rosinski to discuss teaching writing in their disciplines, to gather disciplinary writing resources, to develop research projects that study writing in their disciplines, or to identify disciplinary-writing publishing and presenting opportunities. Our website also lists other opportunities that faculty may find helpful, such as faculty development workshops, pedagogy and scholarship grants, and the Summer Writing Institutes that examine writing in the disciplines.
