Elon University is a nationally recognized leader in engaged, experiential learning that prepares graduates to be creative, resilient, ambitious and ethical citizens of our global culture. Elon University is home to 826 graduate students across nine programs.
In the heart of the Piedmont
Elon’s location, in the beautiful Piedmont region of North Carolina, gives you the best of both worlds–a small, friendly campus surrounded by large metropolitan areas that offer plenty of opportunities for having fun, living healthy and taking advantage of cultural attractions. The town of Elon, which has a downtown filled with locally owned businesses, conveniently located parks and is the 3rd safest city in North Carolina. Burlington is the next closest city being 10 minutes south of Elon.

Celebrate your achievements
Graduate commencement is held in May and December for the various programs. In addition to an all student graduate commencement celebration, Elon celebrates three identity-based ceremonies: Donning of the Kente, Lavender Graduation and ¡Celebramos!.
