International Student Application Requirements

Individual program requirements will vary per program. Please refer to program specifics for application information. Students applying for graduate admissions who are not permanent residents or US-Citizens will need to provide the additional requirements as stated below with their completed application for enrollment.

English Proficiency

If you are attending a school where English is not the primary language of instruction, you must demonstrate English proficiency by submitting the TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test scores.

• Minimum TOEFL score requirement: 80 (internet-based test)
• Minimum IELTS score requirement: 6.5
• Minimum Duolingo English Test requirement: 110

Academic Credentials

All academic records must be submitted in English by your designated school official directly to Elon’s Office of Admissions.

Scholarships

We know financing your education is an important topic to cover when deciding where to apply and ultimately enroll Please refer to specific programs for merit based scholarship. We also do not offer full scholarships.

Elon is not able to offer need-based financial aid for non-U.S. citizens currently. If you are a U.S. citizen living abroad, you are eligible for financial aid by completing the FAFSA and CSS profile.
