Active Minds

Active Minds is an organization that works to empower others to speak about mental health through advocacy, spreading awareness, and promoting positive practices. We are working towards eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health and ensuring that every student’s mental well-being is prioritized on Elon’s campus.


American Chemical Society

Elon’s chapter of ACS brings together students with an interest in the chemical science. Our members participate in a wide range of activities that enhance the Elon experience and that prepare students for successful careers.


American Marketing Association

Elon’s AMA chapter is for students looking to enhance their marketing knowledge and experience through interaction with professors, professionals and community partners. AMA Elon hosts workshops, guest speaker presentations and professional development events to engage students in marketing activities outside the classroom. We strive to be a leading professional student organization on campus by furthering the professional development of students through leadership training, community service and involvement in the field of marketing. You do not need to be a marketing major to join.


Anime and Japanese Studies Club

The Anime and Japanese Studies Club is a space for enthusiasts of Japanese culture and media, mainly Anime, who wish to share and discuss their interests.


Anthropology and Sociology Club

Anthropologists and Sociologists have grappled with conceptions of humanity, culture, and civilization for quite some time. Those who are interested in Anthropology and Sociology tend to be open to new possibilities, perspectives, and experiences. As a member, you will have the opportunity to make friends, discuss cultures from around the world, and discover the unknown. Whether your focus is culture, linguistics, older periods, or the contemporary, your interests can be explored in a fun and intellectual environment.


Arabic Language Organization

The Arabic Language Organization (ALO) serves not only as a venue to promote the learning of the Arabic Language, but also as a catalyst on campus to encourage a richer understanding of Middle Eastern culture, religion, and politics.


Asian-Pacific Student Association (APSA)

The Asian Pacific Student Association at Elon University promotes API initiatives and encourages the education of Asian Pacific Islander culture. We are an inclusive, student-run organization that fosters a community through social-cultural immersion. We aim to provide a space for Elon students who identify as Asian, Asian American, or Pacific Islander, as well as for Elon students who are interested in learning about different Asian and Pacific cultures.

Black Student Union (BSU)

Elon’s Black Student Union, formerly the Black Cultural Society, is the central governing body and root organization for black students on campus. We promote awareness of black culture and cross-cultural understanding at Elon and beyond. We are committed to unifying marginalized populations on campus, educating the campus community, and celebrating blackness. Their goal is to help make Elon a place where everyone truly does belong. The Black Student Union exists to lift up and aid the success of every black student at Elon.


Caribbean Students Association

The mission of the Caribbean Students Association is to educate, enlighten and envelope students of Elon University in the culture and traditions of the Caribbean via the experiences of Elon students, staff and faculty who are of Caribbean descent.



Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM)

Catholic Campus Ministry at Elon University is a place for community, prayer, service, leadership, and fun. We welcome everyone to join us in worship at Sunday Mass or attend one of our many events. CCM is here to help you in your faith journey during your time at Elon and have fun along the way.


Chabad

The Chabad Elon Jewish Student Center opened its doors in December of 2015 with the goal to create a place where all Jewish students can feel at home. Regardless of your affiliation or observance, at Chabad you will find a non-judgmental atmosphere, where being Jewish is fun.


Chinese Club

The purpose of the Elon Chinese Club is to serve as a resource for Elon University students who are interested in the Chinese language or culture. Our club would provide opportunities for interested students to participate in Chinese cultural events, language speaking sessions, connections with local Chinese, and Alumni who work in China. Chinese Club gives interested students and potential applicants the opportunity to make friends and contacts who are interested in learning Chinese or working in China.


Cinelon

Cinelon Productions is Elon’s only student-run film production company. It exists to connect students through film and facilitate production of film projects at a professional level. Cinelon promotes film as a major course of study at Elon University by developing and producing film projects each academic semester, hosting workshops, and screening and critiquing student-made and professional films. Each spring, Cinelon hosts an on-campus film festival in which students can submit their best work.


CKI (Circle K International)

The world’s largest student-led service organization with over 13,000 members. We work with the local Burlington Kiwanis Club to accomplish projects in the community and throughout the world. Within this club’s bi-monthly meetings, we perform service events together such as making dog toys or blankets, watch movies, and hear from Kiwanis members about their experiences and careers.


Classics Club

Classical Studies encompasses the cultures, languages, and histories of the ancient world. Anyone interested in business, politics, drama, history, philosophy, and mythology can find connections though Classics. The goal of starting the Classics Club is to spark an interest in the classical world and learn with other students, and our main goal is to spread the love for Classics! Any person who wants to join will be able to, no need to be in the major, just an interest in learning! We will have rolling admission to the club. It’s never too late to want to learn something new.



Club Sports

The Club Sports organization is made up of 24 teams ranging from individual, dual or team sport competition. All teams practice 2-3 times a week and play institutions both state, region, or nationally throughout the year.

Club Baseball

Club Baseball played its first game in the fall of 2004. Since then, the team has kept alive the spirit that drove the team back on day one. Club Baseball is the team known for playing ball and having fun, competing in the NCBA Mid-Atlantic South Conference.

Club Climbing

Club Climbing providse students with the opportunity to rock climb at an indoor competitive level while creating a constructive climbing community on campus and locally. The club allows students to challenges themselves and grow as individual climbers.

Club Field Hockey

Elon’s Club Field Hockey team encourages the safe and fun practice of field hockey. We value forming strong relationships and enjoying the sport while making memories with one another.

Club Golf

Club Golf is an opportunity for golfers at Elon to practice with a group of competitive golfers and compete in multiple tournaments in North Carolina.

Club Softball

We are a student-run softball team that competes against other schools across North Carolina. We play in fastpitch tournaments, scrimmages and doubleheaders over weekends in the fall and spring. We are accepting of all skill levels as most of our players have played softball recreationally, in high school, or competed in travel ball. We are a competitive team, but we do not hold tryouts. We always try to evenly distribute playing time. Although we play to win, our top priority is to enjoy each other’s company and to have fun. We hold several social events outside of practices and games, including team building events, dinners, and more.

Club Racquetball

Elon Club Racquetball is made of a competitive group of co-ed students. We are made up a mix of highly competitive, intermediate players and even students who don’t know the rules but are interested in getting active and learning to play.


Consulting Club

The Elon Consulting Club serves as a resource for Elon University students who are interested in pursuing careers in Business Consulting. We provide opportunities for interested students to participate in resume workshops, interview study sessions, case preparation, student/alumni presentations, networking events, and intercollegiate competitions. This gives interested students and potential applicants the opportunity to make contacts within the industry, learn theoretical basics and frameworks, gain practical experience in a safe environment and prepare for a successful application and career in consulting together with fellow students.


Danceworks

Elon DanceWorks is a student run dance organization open to dancers and movers of all levels. We hold dance classes every week in a variety of styles ranging from ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop, and much more hoping to the get the Elon community moving! We also have an annual Spring Showcase where amazing student choreography is set on fabulous student dancers. It is a great to chance to watch our dancers shine as true performers in front of a supportive and loving Elon audience. We pride ourselves in offering opportunities for Elon dancers to choreograph, teach, perform, and grow.


Eco-Reps

Eco-Reps is a peer education program dedicated to raising awareness of sustainability issues and encouraging environmentally, socially and economically responsible behavior among fellow students! The Eco Reps work in both the fall and spring semesters to implement sustainable events around campus, as well as working with Residence Life staff to help promote sustainable living practices. The Eco Rep program also offers Sustainable Living lessons, Guided Campus Sustainability tours, and Loy Farm tours to Elon 101 and Global Studies courses as requested.


Economics Club

The Economics Club is an organization within the Love School of Business where students discuss economics across all aspects of life. We host guest speakers, such as members of the Federal Reserve, and discuss topics from business to sports betting.


Elon Alzheimer’s Initiative

The Elon Alzheimer’s Initiative is an organization dedicated to aiding in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Our goal is to establish a strong awareness of Alzheimer’s in the Elon community. Through volunteer efforts, fundraising events, and advocacy work we hope to help in efforts to stop a disease that is a serious issue within our country. Please join us in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.


Elon Blockchain

The A.I. & E.T. (Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies) Club at Elon University is designed to foster a community interested in exploring and developing skills in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. It aims to enhance student learning and skill-building in AI, provide access to relevant speakers and events like hackathons, and ensure good relations and cooperation with other campus organizations. Membership is open to all full-time undergraduates in good academic standing, with part-time students requiring approval.


Elon Choral

Sang in your high school’s choir and want academic credit? Then Elon Choral is the place for you! Featuring three performing ensembles: – Chorale – un-auditioned ensemble for treble and bass voices – Camerata – auditioned classical chamber ensemble for treble and bass voices – Elan – auditioned vocal jazz/pop ensemble for treble and bass voices, including opportunities for live band members.


Elon Club Esports

Elon Club Esports is an organization which strives to provide a community for students interested in the world of Esports. Including popular games such as League of Legends, Overwatch, Rainbow Six: Siege, Super Smash Brothers, and many more, we make it our goal to help students form teams for games they wish to compete with against players across the United States. We also hope to provide a community for competitive and casual gamers alike through which they can bond and build lifelong friendships.


Elon Community Garden Club

A community of people who promote a sense of responsibility to the Earth. You will gain an awareness of sustainable food production, a feeling of interconnectedness to the environment, and peace of mind. Fun activities like cooking recipes with our produce, working together in the garden, and studying/doing homework in the company of plants.


Elon Cooking Club

Elon Cooking Club brings students of all grades and majors together for the common purpose of creating delicious food and learn from others. Whether a student has years of experience or none at all, everyone is welcome.


Elon Diabetes Link

The Diabetes Link at Elon is a space to create connections with other students with diabetes and create connections with the community to inspire children and young adults. We also strive to educate the campus and community about diabetes and living a healthy lifestyle. We work to improve life on campus for students with diabetes through emotional support, personal connections, healthcare, and nutrition, as well as create a central resource for prospective students and parents to have access to information regarding support services for students with diabetes at prospective colleges and universities.


Elon Divine Embers

Divine Embers is a dance team that works together to perform unique dance styles as a part of majorette dancing, which includes bucking, strolling, and tricks.


Elon Engineers

Elon Engineers is a group of creative and diverse individuals who are interested in designing, building, engaging with, and learning more about the possibilities within engineering at Elon and beyond. We meet bi-weekly to work on a semester-to-year-long project as well as create an inviting social space for all who are interested. In addition, we host speaker events, collaborate with the MakerHub, and provide professional development workshops for students throughout each semester. It is always a blast, and no prior knowledge or experience is necessary.


Elon Fellowship of Christian Athletes

We believe the Gospel is the God-breathed Word of God and that God uses the Bible to speak to us in our everyday lives. First and foremost, we encourage everyone to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus and we believe this leads to deeper relationships with other people. We use athletics to bring people together, but we are not only for athletes. Everyone loves competition, or doing something active, so you’re an athlete and you’re welcome.



Elon Feminist for Equality Change and Transformation (EFFECT)

An organization that is devoted to awareness and activism around intersectional feminist issues.


Elon Investment Banking Club

Serves as a resource for students at Elon University who are interested in pursuing careers in investment banking while providing the educational programming and resources for students who are interested in pursuing a career in investment banking. We help connect Elon students with industry professionals to increasing Elon student placement into investment banking.


Elon Irish Dance Club

Elon Irish Dance Team provides opportunities for former and new Irish dancers to practice and perform on and off campus and opportunities for other dancers to learn and experience Irish dance.


Elon Microfinance Initiative

Between these three objectives, EMI offers a way to not only increase your academic knowledge but to use it in a way that benefits those that are much less privileged than we are. Currently, we have loaned out over $4,000 to more than 41 countries and territories. We have defaulted on less than $4. That’s a default rate of less than .1%. Over the past twenty years, commercial loans in community banks have had an average default rate of 3%.


Elon Motorsports

Elon Motorsports is dedicated to all things cars. We embrace a diverse group of automotive enthusiasts ranging from people who like to look at cool cars, to the next pro-racing driver. We all meet and share our enjoyment of the culture through local autocross/drag events, Cars and Coffee events, go-karting and talk about recent news and releases in the automotive industry.


Elon Muses

Elon University’s first-ever show choir. Our goal as muses is to foster a community of love and acceptance through our shared passion for singing, dancing and being onstage.


Elon Muslim Society

The Elon Muslim Society provides Muslim students with a community of members who share their faith tradition and spiritual values. The organization allows opportunities for Muslims and non-Muslims on campus to celebrate special religious occasions and also to engage in discussions around shared beliefs and relevant events and to provide the Elon community with representation, explanation, and education about the Muslim tradition. We also hope to bring awareness to the presence of the Muslim faith on campus, and allow for first-hand experiences with members of the faith tradition and to promote the value of diversity and mutual respect.


Elon NAACP

Elon’s chapter of collegiate NAACP. We are one of the many youth units connected to this national civil rights association that focuses on advancing equity, justice, and social inclusion for Black people and all persons of racial and ethnic minorities through policies and grassroots activism. Our mission is to achieve equity, political rights, and social inclusion by advancing policies and practices that expand human and civil rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate the well-being, education, and economic security of Black people and all persons of color.


Elon News Network

ENN functions as a merged news organization, delivering important, high-quality news to the Elon community across digital, print and broadcast platforms. ENN products include a newspaper, The Pendulum, broadcast channel, Elon Local News and a website elonnewsnetwork.com


Elon Outdoors

Whether the trip is to our local rivers, trails, or climbing areas, Elon Outdoors invites outdoor enthusiasts of all skill levels to participate in exciting adventures and on-campus events. Our program offers a wide range of outdoor pursuits providing a diversity of rich experiences for our students. The program fosters the development of leadership skills and outdoor ethics in our student leaders and participants.


The Elon Physician Assistant Student Society (EPASS)

The official Student Organization of Elon’s Physician Assistant Program. Founded in 2013 by the inaugural class of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, EPASS membership is open to all Elon Physician Assistant students. EPASS is recognized by Elon University and by the Student Academy of the American Association of Physician Assistants (SAAAPA) as a student organization. EPASS members participate in many volunteer activities. EPASS activities also include professional development through attendance at PAPA, NCAPA, and AAPA meetings; participation in an annual leadership workshop designed for physician assistant students; and team-building and social activities within the group itself.


Elon Pre-Health Society

A club that aims to create an organized body of pre-health students that can share knowledge, experiences, and resources. Within the scope of resources, it is our hope to provide meaningful and impactful service-based opportunities to pre-health individuals within EMS and the Alamance medical community. We meet at least every month.


Elon Real Estate Club

The Real Estate Club is one of the newest and most exciting clubs on Elon’s campus. Open to all undergraduate students, the club meets several times a month to learn about real estate as an investment, development, REIT’s, sustainability, construction, and industry trends. In a hands-on environment, students have the opportunity to network with successful real estate professionals from around the country and learn critical skills such as ARGUS Enterprise Software.


Elon Society of Computing

The Elon Society of Computing is a professional and interest based club in the department of computer science which meets weekly. ESC is all about connecting with other CS majors, as well as students interested in programming, learning about internships and research opportunities and much more.


Elon Sports Vision

Elon Sports Vision is the official broadcasting organization of the Elon Athletic Department and aims to prepare members for careers in the sports video industry. Elon Sports Vision also includes student-produced “Elon Phoenix Weekly” and “One on One Sports,” which are news and sports debate show that air locally to the Elon campus and online.


Elon Tabletop Gaming Club

Elon Tabletop Gaming Club is a community of avid gamers who enjoy coming together for old school gaming. If you’re interested in classic or modern board games, competitive card games, or tabletop role play games, join us for our weekly meetings and events.


Elon Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Society

This organization aims to create an academic community outside of the classroom where students can come as they are to engage in conversation and fellowship while evaluating the questions that loom over today’s society.


Elon University Public Health Society

EUPHS aims to provide a community for students interested in public health to discuss public health issues, current events, programs, and initiatives while networking with one another. Additionally, EUPHS organizes, promotes, and sponsors special events on campus and throughout the community.


Elon Volunteers!

EV! is Elon’s hub for service opportunities on campus, providing opportunities for Elon students to engage in service through regular programs, one-time events, and Alternative Breaks. EV! is student-run and student-led, with over 100 student leaders coordinating a wide variety of programs and opportunities.


Elon Wheels

Elon Wheels is a student organization apart of the local organization. The aim is to get people involved in Elon University as well as the town through Skateboarding. We have opportunities in communications, community engagement, and student activities. Join us to push around or explore your passions through the skateboarding lens.


Elon Winterguard

Winterguard is a performance based activity where students develop artistic skills when performing. Participants mostly “spin” flags and rifles, as well as incorporate some dance. Whether you’ve been spinning for years, or you just learned what guard is, this club is for you!


Elon Women in Finance

Women in Finance brings Elon alumni and prominent women in finance to speak to members, provides opportunities to network, and learn more about career paths within the field of finance. It also offers mentoring between under and upperclassmen students.


Elon Yoga Club

Elon Yoga Club was founded to create a space for students to share, learn, and grow as they practice yoga together. We see yoga as an excellent forum for interfaith dialogue, and welcome all world-views and levels of yoga practice.


Elon’s Finest

Elon’s Finest is a hip-hop dance team that performs at various events and showcases throughout the year.

elondocs is a School of Communications program where students participate in a year of technical assistance, small group workshops, and documentary collaboration.


ElonRUNS

ElonRUNS is an organization focused on providing fun and convenient opportunities for runners to meet, run, and socialize. On Elon’s campus, it is hard to walk or drive anywhere without noticing one or two people running around. ElonRUNS provides organized runs that are easy to schedule into a busy day while also encouraging students participate in a community of runners. Overall, the purpose of ElonRUNS is to connect the community of runners we have at Elon, encourage healthy running habits, and provide a convenient exercise environment.


Elonthon

Elonthon is Elon University’s Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon. Throughout the year, Elonthon raises funds and awareness for Duke Children’s Hospital, culminating with a dance marathon for 13.1 hours in the spring. Elonthon promotes childhood health, as well as the potential the Elonthon community has to support the patients and families at Duke Children’s Hospital by providing resources for patient care and hospital programs. Throughout the event, we dance, play games, watch performers, listen to the inspiring stories of our miracle children and fundraise. Elonthon is a part of a much larger Dance Marathon movement sweeping the nation at over 220 other colleges and universities. We are thrilled to be a part of such an amazing community as the 22nd largest dance marathon in the country! Tomorrow is uncertain, so join the movement today.


Equestrian (IHSA)

Equestrian (IHSA) is open to all levels of riding ability. We compete in IHSA shows within our region in the fall and spring semesters, aiming to qualify our riders for Regionals, Zone Finals and National Finals.


Elon Student Television

Elon Student Television (ESTV) is dedicated to fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration among students by providing an inclusive platform for expression through the medium of television. ESTV seeks to empower aspiring media professionals by offering hands-on experience in content creation, production, and broadcasting, while promoting a culture of learning, growth, and community engagement. We are committed to delivering diverse, high-quality programming that reflects inclusive practices and the interests and values of the Elon University community and beyond.


Exercise Science Society

Exercise Science Society is the place to be if you have any interest in Exercise Science! Our org is an outlet for all those passionate in this subject area, whether due to their own interest in fitness, health and wellness, or due to their academic major/minor and career plans relating to the field.


First-Generation Student Support Services

A new initiative housed in the Center for Access and Success that supports students who identify as first-generation college students. At Elon, first-generation college students are those whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have not completed a bachelor’s degree. Working with first-generation college students and other campus partners, the initiative strives to create a culture where the first-generation identity feels supported, empowered and celebrated throughout Elon’s campus.


Fraternity and Sorority Community

The Fraternity & Sorority community promotes the learning and development of students who affiliate with values-based fraternities and sororities. The staff in Student Involvement supports the fraternity and sorority community in efforts to continue to be relevant and contributing members to the institution, and advocates for the academic success of all members and for opportunities through which students can integrate their values into learning.



French Club

Elon’s French Club celebrates Francophone countries’ culture, language, and food by participating in events and volunteering.


Game Design Club

Have you ever wondered how video games are developed? Well this is what the game design club is all about. We analyze games and see how they are made, from programming to acting, lighting, music, cinematography and everything else. Join us and be presented with meetings from people from the game design industry as they talk about their work experiences. We strive to analyze games and make them.


German Club

Elon’s German Club hosts events throughout the semester and are all about German language and culture.


Gift of Life

The Gift of Life Club offers students an opportunity to save lives and earn service hours. Gift of Life Marrow Registry is a non-profit that aims to save the lives of children and adults suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood cancers and genetic disorders. This organization aims to add people to the bone marrow registry so that there is genetic match for everyone in need of a life-saving procedure.


Hebrew Club

Elon University’s Hebrew (or Ivriit) Club welcomes all who have an interest in the language of or culture around Hebrew and want to learn more. We will have a mix of fun events that will assist in expanding people’s knowledge on the language and history surrounding it.


Hillel

Elon’s Hillel offers social, cultural, educational, religious and spiritual, tikkum olam (community service), and Israel-related programs that are designed and planned by our students, and we gather for Shabbat every week, and mark the Jewish holidays as a community.


I AM THAT GIRL (IATG)

Provides a space where women can come together to be, love and express who they are, by working to build tangible community, inspire genuine conversation, and encourage self-confidence. We are a community of women empowering each other to be the best versions of themselves. We meet each week to discuss issues that matter and encourage authenticity and vulnerability.


Intervarsity Christian Fellowship

InterVarsity at Elon is a community in which people are being changed through a relationship with Jesus, while being surrounded by people who are encouraging and pursuing one another based on His love. Our hope is to witness to who Jesus is in every corner of Elon’s campus.


Iron Tree Blooming

We are a meditation group based in Rinzai Zen philosophy and the Zazen tradition.


Italian Club

We are the Elon Italian Club and we are a brand new organization on campus. Our goal, as a student based organization, is to bring the Italian American community at Elon to light by connecting students interested in the Italian language and culture through various Italian-based activities, including Italian Film Festivals, Cooking activities, Italian Trivia, Carnevali and more.


K-DNS

K-DNS is your chance to learn the choreography and vocals from K-pop songs trending worldwide. K-DNS focuses on improving dance and vocal proficiency in the context of the modern music industry on a global scale. Join us as we explore the many styles and genres of music that exist within the K-Pop industry through dance and vocals. We are looking for students who have an interest in dancing and/or singing. Students of all skill levels are welcome to join (no experience necessary)! Come sing and dance with us to your favorite K-Pop songs.


Late Night Elon

Late Night Elon promotes a vibrant and inclusive social climate through the collaborative creation of engaging late night-weekend programs, which facilitate a strong sense of community and belonging for all Elon students.


Latinx-Hispanic Union

The mission of LHU is to create unity in our Latinx/Hispanic community and celebrate diversity at Elon University. We will advocate on issues that impact our lives as Latinx/Hispanic individuals. We will promote and create community involvement opportunities in Alamance county to empower our people. Our goal is to be the voice for our community at Elon University and be a place where Latinx/Hispanic students can feel that they bELONg.


Lutherans, Episcopalians and Friends (LEAF)

Liberal Arts Forum

Members of The Liberal Arts Forum collaborate and discuss possible speakers and how to manage the budget before voting at the end of each semester. Students work together to discuss which interests are most prevalent on campus, and what type of speaker may draw in the widest range of students and faculty at Elon. Liberal Arts Forum members also plan a reception for the speaker and greet guests at the venue door at each event.


Limelight Records

We are Limelight Records, Elon University’s sole promotional group for up-and-coming student musicians. We give the unheard a voice by providing undiscovered, talented student artists with the opportunity to record their music, play live shows, develop an image, and aquire a fanbase.


Limitless

Limitless provides an inclusive space for all students on campus and allows artists to get their name out there and have quality production to support their journey and artistry. We support artists by providing a safe space for them to practice and perform, network, and create quality productions. Additionally, Limitless incorporates Hip Hop cultural elements and music in every performance in support and celebration of the original genre that the Founders feel strongly inclined to elevate and celebrate.


Elon Martial Arts Club

The Elon Martial Arts Club is an on-campus club sport that teaches beginners the fundamentals of various martial arts and allows more experienced members to refine and share their skills. We teach Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, boxing, and self-defense skills.



Milk Club

The Elon Milk Club strives to fulfill the purpose of creating an all-inclusive, friendly, tight-knit community, welcoming any Elon students who wish to join. The foundations of this community will be built upon a common shared love for any dairy products, and/or their dietary substitutes.


Mock Trial

Mock Trial is a fun, challenging activity where students put on court trial simulations in competition with teams from other schools. Students will have the opportunity to perform trials as an attorney and/or witness. Whether you want to develop public speaking, hone critical thinking & analyzing skills, brush up your acting skills, gain knowledge of legal procedures, or just want to make lifelong friends – this is an organization for you.


ModelUN

Model United Nations (MUN) is a club of passionate and intelligent students who work together to simulate the world of international politics. The club centers around a simulation of the United Nations Security Council, composed of 15 countries, where students get a chance to debate and practice public speaking through the representation of their country.


National Council of Negro Women

Elon’s chapter of NCNW offers a positive, uplifting and supportive network of sisters (and brothers) who share a passion for NCNW’s mission. We plan to facilitate networking, coalition building, and advocacy to create a sense of unity among all women. We plan to do this through community service, team building, the implementation of programs and overall visibility on Elon University’s campus.


National Pan-Hellenic Council

The National Pan-Hellenic Council, Incorporated (NPHC) is currently composed of nine (9) International Greek letter Sororities and Fraternities: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.


National Press Photographers Association (NPPA)

Representing photojournalists, the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) advocates for visual journalists in print, broadcast and digital. NPPA is a nationwide organization that fosters community not only among established visual storytellers, but it provides resources for those who want to learn more about photojournalism and how it differs from other visual practices. We welcome all members who are interested in visual storytelling.


Elon’s Native American Student Association (NASA)

Elon’s Native American Student Association (NASA) advocates for Native and Indigenous identifying students by promoting representation, inclusive programming, and educational awareness on Elon’s campus.


NC Student Legislature (NCSL)

The North Carolina Student Legislature is a nonprofit organization spread across chapters at multiple North Carolina colleges and universities. Its purpose is to give students the opportunity to participate in a mock state legislative process. Students draft resolutions, have the opportunity to debate them with their peers across the state, and often go on to turn resolutions into actual bills to be debated and voted on at our annual session.


Net Impact

The Elon University Chapter of Net Impact is dedicated to implementing this mission within the networks of Elon University and beyond– helping to educate and engage Elon students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni, employers and other key stakeholders on how to leverage our Elon networks to make positive sustainable and socially responsible impacts across the many different fields and disciplines in which we are engaged.


Newworks

NewWorks is a student-run theatre organization founded in 2020 with the purpose of providing playwrights and artists of all kinds with the opportunity to have their work read, discussed, and developed. Students of all majors and artistic disciplines are encouraged to participate! We hold readings of student-written work every month where like-minded students can experience the work and provide feedback for the creators. We produce a student-written theatre production every semester.


 

Nursing Club

With nursing being a brand new major, it is very important that we can educate and support those students who have declared this as their major, or students who are simply interested and want to learn more. We also want this club to serve as a way for everyone involved to support the Elon community through the Department of Nursing, School of Health Sciences, and Elon University as a whole. This club will also serve as a safe space for these students to grow as individuals, college students, and future nursing professionals.


oSTEM

Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics is a national LGBTQIA-affirming organization that aims to provide services and support for students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and to create a dynamic network between students and professionals in industry and academia.


Phi Psi Cli

Elon’s annual yearbook publication. The yearbook was founded in 1913 and is named for the first three literary societies on campus. It traditionally covers the activities and events on campus in chronological order following the school year. Coverage includes sports, academic groups, student organizations, and other campus traditions.


Phoenix Fashion

Offers a creative outlet for students interested in learning more about the fashion industry.


Phoenix Phanatics

Our mission is to build the craziest student section in the CAA; showing unwavering support for Elon University athletics by attending games and tournaments to promote school spirit.


Phoenix Racing

Seeks to foster deep exploration of automotive technologies and construction techniques to design a reliable and competitive formula-style car for participation in the Formula Electric SAE Collegiate Design Series.


Please Clap

Please Clap is the premier all-inclusive improv club on campus. Anyone can come by and join us at our meetings twice-a-week, where we play games, hang out, and make each other laugh. We do several shows a year where we play games for an audience, similar to an episode of “Whose Line is it Anyway”.


Project Management Club

The purpose of this club is to help students meet other students interested in project management, raise awareness of the project management major, learn more about project management career opportunities, refine interview skills, and prepare for the CAPM exam.


Psychology Club

The Psychology Club is a student run organization that is open to any students with an interest in this subject, and provides an opportunity to meet other psychology students outside of a formal classroom setting. Meetings will usually feature faculty speakers discussing a specific topic related to psychology, or student speakers presenting their own research.


The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)

Prepares future professionals in the public relations profession. It does this by hosting professional guest speakers and holding beneficial workshops.


Relay for Life

Relay for Life is a collaboration of students in support of the American Cancer Society. Our mission is to celebrate the survivors, remember the lost, and fight back against cancer. At Elon, we raise money and awareness through our five main events: Dodge for a Cause, Acoustic for a Cure, Paint the Campus Purple Week, Relay for Life, and Rockin’ Relay.


Renegade Productions

Renegade promotes and enacts the production of student directed and/or devised theatre. We strive to expose students to alternative methods of theatrical production, design, and performance, and to foster a safe and nurturing space for all students and performers, regardless of prior experience or intended major.


Sierra Student Coalition

The Sierra Student Coalition is a student organization based on the national organization The Sierra Club founded by John Muir in 1892. We focus on the same principles of environmental conservation and spreading awareness of intersectional environmental issues.


Society for Human Resource Management

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest HR professional society, representing 285,000 members in more than 165 countries. For nearly seven decades, the Society has been the leading provider of resources serving the needs of HR professionals and advancing the practice of human resource management.


Society of Physics Students

The Society of Physics Students hosts interesting speakers, does fun activities and demos, starts debates, fosters some friendly competition, and generally aims to bring the fun back to a subject that can seem really daunting. In addition to making physics more fun and accessible for anyone interested (STEM majors and non-STEM majors alike), we also make a point to allow for interesting discussions and prompt the furthering and exploring of all kinds of topics in a different, more entertaining way than most are used to. It’s a far less daunting club than it may sound, so we hope you join us for one of our Lasers and Lasagna nights, an amazing speaker, or a science-themed board game so we can show you just how much fun physics can be.


Society of Professional Journalists

The Society of Professional Journalists is the nation’s most broad-based journalism organization, dedicated to encouraging …the free practice of journalism and stimulating high standards of ethical behavior.


SPACE

Students Promoting Awareness, Change, and Empowerment: S.P.A.C.E is for all students of all genders and all members of the Elon community to engage in discussion and take action on the serious and pervasive issues of rape, domestic violence, and sexual assault on college campuses. We are a safe space for survivors of assault and provide campus available resources.



Spectrum

Spectrum is Elon University’s queer-straight student alliance. We here at Spectrum want to ensure a safe space for all queer people, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Existing for over 20 years, we provide social support, education, and activism opportunities with-and-for students and the greater campus community as it regards the spectrum of gender identities and sexual orientations, in order to fight social inequities within the queer community.


Sport Management Society

The Sport Management Society is a student-run organization that allows students interested in Sport Management (SPT) to connect and network with fellow students, professors and industry professionals. Students put to use what they are learning in the classroom into practice through planning and participating in many different types of events. This organization hosts its own events, coordinates events with other organizations, and attends local games as social events. Our goal is for students to gain experience, learn something new, and expand their network.


Student Government Association

Student Government Association is a group of students on campus that are dedicated to making the lives of other students better. SGA members are elected by the student body to represent students from all campus areas through leadership positions, outreach events and campus committees.


Student Union Board

Founded in 1984, The Student Union Board (SUB) is dedicated to providing students with a variety of entertaining programs. Not only does SUB sponsor events, it provides opportunities for students to get involved and participate in these events and gain experiences in responsibility, leadership, and program planning and implementation. During the academic year, SUB is sponsoring weekly events every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. With SUB, you’re never bored, because SUB is where your weekend activities begin.


Students for Peace and Social Justice

Elon’s Students for Peace and Social Justice aim to promote social awareness, open-mindedness, and activism to create a more peaceful and inclusive campus environment. We define peace as harmonious living with our core values being love, respect, and appreciation for all living things.


Supply Chain Management Club

Supply Chain Management Club serves as a space for supply chain management, project management, and all majors for an educational community. The club hosts business professionals as speakers and lively discussions surrounding current supply chain issues in the world.

Surtal translates into two words – music that soothes the soul, and rhythmic beats. Internal performances on occasions such as the festival of lights, the festival of colours,World Dance Day, among others are covered by Surtal. No prior experience is required, all we seek is your passion to immerse yourselves into something fun and exciting.


The Women’s Network (TWN)

Committed to changing the way women network. In creating a supportive, non-competitive community, we lift women up, creating a more proactive way of communicating and networking. Ultimately, our goal is to prepare women to achieve professional success while cultivating and celebrating their ambition.


Ukirk-Wesley Presbyterian Methodist Fellowship

UKirk-Wesley Elon is a group of students with a shared passion for Christ who meet once a week on campus for conversation and a break from the chaos of Elon life. UKirk-Wesley at Elon volunteers, engages with community church members at luncheons and dinners off campus, and attends services and special events at First Presbyterian Church in Burlington when able. Come join us at the table on Thursday nights in Numen Lumen for laughs, talks and snacks.


Undergraduate Research Student Association

URSA is the student-run undergraduate research association that not only seeks to increase the visibility and feasibility of research on campus but also wants to create an intellectual cohort for those conducting research.


Underrepresented Business Student Alliance Network

UBSAN strives to help current and future underrepresented students have a more integrated and supportive experience in the Love School of Business (LSB) and will host events throughout the year to build a social, academic and professional support network for students.

Young Life College is a Christian college ministry that gives students opportunities to explore their faith through club, small groups, & other social events! Young Life College offers a fun, accepting community to be a part on campus, in addition to offering community engagement through leadership positions in local middle & high schools.
