Why Elon?

From their first days on campus, Elon students are engaged learners who work on their own, with peers and alongside faculty, to solve problems and master difficult materials. They serve others while studying abroad. They learn on the job through internships and tie those experiences to research with faculty mentors. By the time they graduate, they have a wealth of experiences that support their transition to life after college and ensure they stand out when applying for a first job or graduate school.

It's a feeling

Take time to visit

Elon’s on-campus visit is special. Students often tell us, “As soon as I stepped on campus, I knew Elon was the place for me.” Our campus, a designated botanical garden, is beautifully landscaped with brick pathways, manicured lawns, lakes and towering oaks. (Elon is Hebrew for oak.) But that’s not the only reason you should visit. Our tight-knit community, friendly environment and genuine care for our students will all be apparent during your time here. Students and families feel it immediately. You’ll understand, too, once you experience it for yourself.
