Fitness facilities

Campus Recreation & Wellness facilities include the Koury Center, Harden Clubhouse, Driving Range, The Lodge Property, PARC and South Gym. Facilities can be accessed with a valid Phoenix Card during open hours of operation. Koury Center Facilities include the Stewart Fitness Center, Jordan Gym, racquetball/squash courts, Group Exercise studios and Beck Pool. Recreational opportunities such as racquetball, table tennis, wallyball, and pick-up basketball are available at the Campus Recreation & Wellness facility. There is a variety of equipment available for check-out at no charge.

Club and intramural sports

Club sports

Club Sports are student organizations that have multiple practices per week. Many clubs compete locally, regionally and/or nationally against other colleges and universities. The best way to learn about a specific club is to contact the club directly. There are 24 club sports including baseball, basketball (men’s and women’s), climbing, disc golf, equestrian (IHSA), Esports, field hockey, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse (men’s and women’s), racquetball, rugby (men’s and women’s), soccer (men’s and women’s), softball, swim, tennis, Ultimate (men’s and women’s) and volleyball (men’s and women’s).

Intramural sports

Intramurals are recreational leagues and tournaments for Elon students to participate with other Elon students. Participants can form their own teams or be added to existing teams. Leagues last approximately a half semester, with one to two games per week.
