Every gift matters at Elon.
No matter the size, every gift to Elon makes an impact on our students, faculty, staff and campus. Collectively, private support makes it possible for students to take full advantage of all Elon has to offer. Your gift matters. Make a contribution, and make an impact.
Support for one study abroad experience:
Support from Elon donors enabled Perrin Trask ’24 to study abroad in Florence, Italy thanks to the Service Learning Experiential Education Endowment. While in Florence, Perrin was able to take courses on cooking, practice mindfulness and take time away from work to enjoy her experience. Perrin describes her study-abroad experience as life-changing and eye-opening, and she returned to the States with a broadened worldview.
Support for one leadership experience:
Robin Falkow ’25 has honed her leadership skills as an Isabella Canon Leadership Fellow. As a member of this cohort, Robin has been able to attend leadership workshops and travel in a J-term course focused on the Civil Rights Movement in Alabama. Her leadership extends beyond the classroom and into student government, where she serves as a Class Senator.
Support for one service experience:
Savannah Josey ’23 majored in business analytics and Spanish. During her time at Elon, she completed all five experiential learning experiences. She also served as an alternative break director where she helped plan fall and spring break opportunities designed to bring sustainable service to local communities. Through the Kernodle Center Student Engagement Grant, Savannah was able to study abroad in New Zealand and continue her service-learning engagements.
For many students, private support helps fund scholarships that make an Elon education possible:
I am super grateful for the opportunity to study, but also to be a part of organizations on campus. It would not have been possible without the help of the scholarship. 80%, if not, 90% of my growth comes from my scholarship.
I pushed myself to my limits during those four years because I was granted endless opportunity. Where talent and persistence led me, I could venture without hesitation.
