Engrave Yourself On Elon’s Campus

Support the Senior Cause and Join The Tradition

It’s time to leave your mark Under the Oaks and ensure your legacy remains long after your graduation.

Just follow these steps:

  • Visit www.elon.edu/seniorbricks
  • Make a recurring gift of $10/month for 18+ months or a recurring annual gift of $60/year for 3+ years to the Senior Class Cause or the fund that has had the greatest impact on your Elon experience. To ensure your brick is in the ground before graduation make your gift by February 12, 2025.
  • Personalize the brick that Elon will install in your honor with up to three lines of text, each line having 20 characters. Students often include their name, class year, and/or organizations, but the choice is yours!

FAQ

How do I get a brick? What's the minimum gift? Is my gift tax deductible?

All seniors who want to participate should make their recurring gift. The form will walk you through setting up your gift and submitting personalized lines to be engraved on a recognition brick. The minimum gift is $10/month for 18+ months or make an annual recurring gift of $60/year for 3+ years. And yes, all gifts will be tax-deductible.

Where does my gift go?

You tell us! You can make your gift go to the Senior Class Cause, one of the 100+ campus funds, or the area of campus that has had the greatest impact on your Elon experience. You have full control over where you make your impact!

What can I include in the lines of personalization for the brick that will be engraved in my honor?

Most people choose to include their name and class year on the engraved bricks. Here are a few suggestions you may want to include in your lines of personalization: name, class year, Greek letters or Elon affiliations. Derogatory language is not allowed. Please remember that Elon reserves the right to modify the recommended language in any way it deems appropriate. For more information about what can be included in the engraving process, please contact Sadie Wiswall ’24, Coordinator of Annual Giving, at swiswall@elon.edu.

Where will the bricks be placed on campus?

All personalized bricks will be placed Under the Oaks. You can choose the specific location on Senior Brick Laying Day when your gift is made by February 12, 2025.

I already have an existing recurring gift. Will it count for as a Senior Brick gift?

Only gifts made through the Brick Giving Form will be included. Please set up a new recurring gift using this form. If you wish to discuss your existing recurring gift, please contact Sadie Wiswall ’24, Coordinator of Annual Giving, at swiswall@elon.edu.

I am a graduating senior at Elon. My parent or family member wants to make a gift in my honor. Is that possible?

Elon is happy to provide options for family members who want to recognize their graduating seniors! However, this opportunity is designed to celebrate the commitment of seniors who not only receive an exceptional education but also choose to give back. For this reason, seniors themselves must make a personal gift in order to receive a brick. Gifts made on behalf of seniors cannot be applied to the bricks initiative.

Will I own the brick that is placed in a campus walkway in my honor?

The placement of an engraved brick on campus serves as recognition of the donor’s commitment to Elon University and does not indicate donor ownership of the brick.

What happens if I get a new credit card or my credit card expires?
