Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need to register online?
Registering online lets your classmates know that you are coming. Everyone who registers by Oct. 23 will have their name appear on the “Who’s Coming Back” list.
In addition to letting your classmates know, the Office of Alumni Engagement needs to be able to plan for all the events you will enjoy over Homecoming weekend.
It's been a while... how do I get to Elon?
Elon Admissions offers printer-friendly directions and a map for those visiting campus.
Take Interstate 85/40 to exit 140 University Drive/Elon. If you are driving from Durham and points east, take a right at the end of the ramp. If you are driving from Greensboro and points west, take a left at the end of the ramp and cross over the highway overpass.
Follow the signs for University Drive and continue for 2.5-3 miles. Continue on University Drive approximately one mile, proceeding through the stoplight at Williamson Avenue/N.C. 87. Turn right at the next stoplight for O’Kelly Avenue.
Follow O’Kelly to the stop light and turn left onto Haggard Ave. You may park in the McMichael or Innovation Quad parking lots which will both be located on your left off Haggard Ave. Once parked, make your way to the Martin Alumni Center to official check-in for the weekened.
Where do alumni check in on campus?

Will there be alcohol at the All Alumni Tailgate Village?
There will not be a bar located within the All Alumni Tailgate village. There will be beverage stations with non-alcoholic beverages available.
Alcohol policy: Alcohol (beer and wine only) will be permitted in the tailgating area. No common containers (kegs, party balls, etc.) will be allowed. Individuals over 21 years of age must provide their own alcoholic beverages. Groups are responsible for making sure only those who are 21 years of age or older consume alcohol. All beverages, including alcohol, must be in opaque cups. All alcoholic beverages must remain in coolers or closed containers and not out in the open. Inappropriate behavior by a guest may result in that person being removed from the tailgate area.

Where can I find the brick installed in my honor?
If you participated in the 2017, 2018 brick initiative or any senior donor brick initiative, you can locate the brick Under the Oaks. If you participated in the Pave the Way brick effort in 2013, the brick is located outside of the Martin Alumni Center. The Alumni Engagement team will be able to assist you in finding the brick.
You can also visit Elon’s online brick locator to see a map of named bricks that are placed Under the Oaks and at the Martin Alumni Center.
