Billing and Payments
View & Pay Your Bill through e-Bill
Elon University’s electronic billing and payment system (e-Bill) allows students and authorized users 24×7 access to view bills, make payments, and manage their student account.
Important Billing Notes
Authorized Users
If someone will be paying tuition on your behalf, you must add them as an authorized user. To add an authorized user, log in to e-Bill and select the “Authorized Users” tab. Follow the instructions on the screen.
The financial information on your student account is confidential and protected by the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA). FERPA is also known as the Buckley Amendment, Statute 20 U.S.C 1232 (g), regulations 34 CFR Part 99. By designating an “authorized user,” you will authorize parents or other relatives to receive otherwise protected information.
View e-Statements for the Most Accurate Account Status
After you’ve logged in to the e-Bill site, head to the e-Statements tab for the most comprehensive breakdown of tuition, fees, and financial aid. e-Statements may reflect pending items that cannot be reflected in the current account status on the main page, thus it’s the most accurate and up-to-date view of your bill.
Payment Deadlines are Firm
Important payment deadlines are posted to our homepage and/or emailed to your Elon email account (and authorized user email accounts). Please note that these deadlines are firm. Failure to pay on time may result in the cancellation of pre-registered classes. All financial aid should be applied by the deadline as well. If you don’t see financial aid applied to your bill, contact the Office of Financial Aid.
Paperless Billing
As a part of the University’s commitment to sustainability, you will never receive a paper bill from us. Billing notifications will be sent to your Elon account (and authorized user email accounts).
Full Service Payment Plan Participants
If you are participating in the Full Service Payment Plan, an optional plan that allows you to spread payments over a 5 month period per billing cycle. You will contract the payment plan per semester for 5 installments. Any difference that remains after the Full Service Payment Plan contract is applied to the statement must be paid to the university. If there are any questions regarding Full Service Payment Plan, please contact the Bursar’s Office.
