DEEP

DEEP is the Center for Race, Ethnicity, & Diversity Education’s (CREDE) signature program for social justice. We provide spaces for the Elon community to learn about, reflect on, and apply concepts of social justice with a foundation in racial equity. Together, we hope to achieve a greater understanding of identities, power, and their relation to systemic inequities.

Would you like to:

  • Deepen your knowledge and perspectives of social justice?
  • Meet other students with a strong interest in social justice?
  • Apply your understanding of social justice within the Elon community?

DEEP meetings include discussions on articles, videos, and concepts as well as individual and group reflection around topics of social justice. See below for our 2023-2024 schedule, and visit our PhoenixCONNECT page for more detailed information about the program. We use PhoenixCONNECT as our primary portal for information, events, applications, and resources, so we strongly recommend that you join our page if you are interested in DEEP.
