Elon University offers a variety of offices and centers beyond the CREDE that focus on supporting all students’ identity development, personal growth, and sense of belonging. These spaces provide resources, programming, and community-building opportunities for students, helping them navigate their college experience while embracing their identities.
Division of Inclusive Excellence
The Division of Inclusive Excellence Education & Development oversees the diversity education efforts for faculty and staff and monitors the campus-wide bias and harassment response system.
Office of Inclusive Excellence Education & Development
The Office of Inclusive Excellence Education & Development (OIEED) promotes self-awareness and critical consciousness through education and development initiatives that support skill-building efforts, leading to greater levels of inclusion on campus.

Gender & LGBTQIA Center
Elon University’s Gender & LGBTQIA Center exists so LGBTQIA and Ally students & employees feel respected, safe, and valued on campus, so they may fully participate in the full array of academic, co-curricular, and leadership experiences offered at Elon University.
Isabella Cannon Global Education Center
The Isabella Cannon Global Education Center is Elon’s hub for international activity, including development and coordination of student opportunities abroad, services for international students and scholars, facilitating faculty opportunities abroad, and programming directed towards the development of an internationalized campus.
Kernodle Center for Civic Life
The Kernodle Center for Civic Life engages students, faculty, staff and community partners in service that benefits the university and its surrounding community. The Kernodle Center houses Elon Volunteers!, a student-led program offering a range of volunteer activities; coordinates Elon’s signature academic service-learning programs and courses; and sponsors the Alternative Breaks Program.
Truitt Center for Religious & Spiritual Life
The Truitt Center is a safe place for spiritual growth and interfaith exploration. Our mission is to encourage students to honor the spiritual dimension of life, be vitally connected to a faith tradition, embrace the present responsibility and the future with hope, and live the principles they value.
Center for Leadership
Elon students will graduate with a greater leadership self-efficacy, the desire and ability to work collaboratively within diverse communities of people, as well as have the confidence and competence to put innovative ideas into action for positive change.
Office of Academic Accommodations and Accessibility

Center for Access and Success
The Center for Access and Success at Elon University was created due to Elon’s value of community and the concern for common good. The purpose of The Center is to help students from all backgrounds have access to and succeed in higher education. The Center serves individuals in the Elon University community and surrounding communities from pre-K to adults through our current initiatives: It Takes a Village Project, Elon Academy, Odyssey Program, First-Generation Student Support Services, iBelong, and Beyond 12.
