Brief Biography

Published in Journalism Mass Communications MonographsPublic Relations Review, Journal of Public Relations Research, Journalism History, and has presented numerous papers at various conferences. Interested in studying and teaching about the use of symbols in mass communication. Previously taught at the University of Scranton and Louisiana State University. Came to Elon in 2015.

Worked in advertising and public relations in New York City and Atlanta for agencies, non-profit organizations, and corporations.
