B.A. in English Literature from Swarthmore College, and JD from UC Berkeley (Boalt Hall) School of Law. Partner at Morrison & Foerster specializing in cable, broadcast and wireless regulation. NYC Commissioner of Telecommunications under Mayor David Dinkins, and President of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors, represnting all municipalities in the discussions over the Cable Act of 1992. Senior VP for Strategic Planning at News Corporation. Co-founder and CEO of Sportvision, which invented the Emmy-winning First and Ten yellow line for football telecasts and K-Zone for baseball telecasts. Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for NYC in the Media category in 2001. Head of new media for IMG North America, 2003-6. President of Bloomberg Sports, the leader in sports data and analytics services, sold to Vista Equity Partners in 2015.
